G-Festival has grown to be one of the North West's biggest music and entertainment events and 2017 will see the SIXTH festival. See bottom of this page for address and directions.
We promise you an amazing family day out with all proceeds going to GEORGIA'S CHILDREN OF THE WORLD ... this is our biggest fundraiser and it allows us to do so much good work in Cambodia, Romania and right here in Salford. Every penny (we mean it, we pay virtually all our own expenses) goes to children, some of whom have absolutely nothing. Some of these kids live in mud and deprivation that we can't imagine, but you can help put a smile on their face - educating, clothing and feeding them - whilst getting the best value a tenner will buy you all year.
Georgia's Children of the World was also recently recognised by BT, one of the biggest communications companies in the world, when one of our founder members, Keith Tulsie, won the BT Chairman's Award for his work, a truly deserved accolade that proves what good people can achieve when they pull together in the name of love and compassion for others.
The iconic Salford Lads Club, of which Georgia's granddad was a member, will be organising a Junior Football tournament to "kick off" the event and we're busy working on a line-up of bands and special guests to make it a truly memorable event. Last year we kept the music flowing with acts on both the acoustic stage and the main stage - as one band finished, we were ready to bounce into another. And this year we plan to have a covered area too ... just in case, errr , the sun gets too hot. We've got lots of food and entertainment going on, so bring your kids, family and friends and help us make this the best G-Fest ever.
Everybody involved with Georgia's Children works for free and we are extremely passionate about making a difference to children’s lives both at home and overseas in Georgia’s name and we can guarantee 100% of all our proceeds go DIRECTLY to our projects ...
